Or have you ever been asked what your mobile phone number is and just plain couldn’t remember? Heck you don’t really ever call yourself on the telephone do you? Well here is an easy to follow guide on how to check what your mobile phone number is on your Samsung Galaxy S 4.

Quick instructions

Home Key > Menu Key > Settings > More > About device > Status > My phone number

Detailed instructions with pictures

Start by clicking the Home button (its the large button on the bottom of your phone in the center).

Then Click on your Menu Key. It’s a key right next to your Home Key.
Note: it might be hidden and not light up until you press it.

Then Tap on Settings.

Make sure that the More tab is selected (upper right).

Scroll Down and select About device.

Click on Status.

Scroll down a bit… And there it is!

Under My phone number it will show you the telephone number of your Galaxy S 4.

Now you won’t have any problems confirming your mobile phone number on your Galaxy S 4.

Oh no it doesn't

The number in this field is not the number to call me or what shows up when I call someone else!

Hey! This helped a lot..

Hey! This helped a lot.. worked on my alcatel and cherry mobile phone.. I forgot the number of a sim that I used ages ago and couldn't figure out how to retrieve it until i read this post.. thanks thanks!

This hasn't worked for me

This hasn't worked for me either, it's showing the number that was originally for the sim card and not the number that was migrated over when I upgraded.

If this doesn't work then...

If you have access to email you can send a text message to your email address, you'll have to pay for mms but sometimes it's the only option.
